Product Code: PMSI 01

PMSI 01

Product Description:

The above featured interlock is used to operate the mechanism of Switch Fuse, Isolators, Earth Switches etc. The extended shaft will interfere with lever or the bracket mechanism supplied by the switchgear manufacturer to lock the control switch. This type of Mechanical Interlock is available in 90 deg. clockwise and anti-clockwise key trap position. Also, various sizes and varieties of shaft are available. (Refer drawing for shaft options).

Operation:

1. When the key is trapped in the lock the isolator or earth switch is closed. 2. When the key is turned to pre-determined angular position i.e. PRA-1 or PRA-2, the key is free and the isolator or earth switch is open, thus isolating the power supply.

Installation:

The lock body should be mounted on the door with suitable anti-tampering fasteners to prevent tampering. (Refer drawing for mounting arrangements).

Maintenance:

Proper periodic checks for damages should be done by safety personnel. Do not use oil to lubricate as it may cause further damage and the locks may become non-functional. In case of any issues in functioning of the locks kindly contact Patlon Technical Team for further assistance.
